OUR STORY
My name is Pasquale, and I’m Mr. Pat
My wife and I worked in Montreal and later in Scarborough. We retired in June 2014 and moved to Ottawa in October 2015.
We’ve had gardens since 2003, growing vegetables and hot peppers. After moving to Ottawa and seeing the Farmers’ Markets, I inquired about becoming a vendor. I joined the Ottawa Farmers’ Market in August of 2018 offering a small selection of hot sauces, which has now doubled, from mild to extreme heat.

All the hot sauces have simple base ingredients, no vinegar, plenty of flavour and spicy. They are available at some local Farmers’ Markets in Ottawa and here, online. Also, certain store locations, listed above, carry all or some of my flavours.

ABOUT HOT SAUCES
Wilbur Scoville created the scale in 1912
The Scoville scale is a measurement of the pungency (spiciness) of peppers and other hot foods.
The scale is based on the concentration of capsaicin, an active component of chili peppers that produces a burning sensation when it touches your tongue or skin. Pharmacist Wilbur Scoville created the scale in 1912.
